Finished this one up this evening. For a 9" x 6" image it took me longer than expected. Thank you Nick Pionessa for the photo reference, I think it turned out well.

11" x 20" Original Watercolor. I tried something very different with this painting. The composition was all free style and paint selection. The entire background was done with only 3 colors Payne's Gray, Raw Sienna and Burnt Sienna know as Old Masters

Coastal lakes are interesting to me, great fishing, caught plenty of large fish. Even though you are in a freshwater lake, all you can smell is the ocean, kinda playswith your head.
